The Nice List Contest!!

Welcome to the NICE list contest!!

 

We all know someone who has been on Santa's list but hasn't received the recognition or something special for all the great things they do.

Well now we will acknowledge them and you for nominating them!!!!

Here is how the Nice list contest is going to work.

 

1. The nominee and you must be in the Houston,TX area to win

2. You must email in the nominee name, picture and a brief description of why they should win

3. Get your friends & family involved, the more you have voting for your nominee the closer they have a chance to win Santa's Nice List

4. Deadline for all emails will be December 13th (Thursday), winner will be determined on Friday December 14th & announced on Facebook & this blog Friday afternoon

-Winner is determined by the most votes they received

For the Kids!!!

 

What could make the kids more excited then Chocolate.... 

Here is a fun and SUPER easy tutorial you can do with the kids

Marshmallow on a stick :) ;)  

 

Materials needed:

Marshmallows (big ones)

Popsicles sticks or Cake pop sticks

CHOCOLATE

graham cracker crumbs, peppermints (whatever you want to top them with)

Heatproof bowl for the Chocolate (Or you can microwave the chocolate, just watch it)

My favorite bowl I use for EVERYTHING MELTING Pampered Chef!!!

 

OK here we go :)

Numero Uno!! (Number One)

Melt your chocolate, add water into your pot then place your bowl on top to medium heat.

Once its almost melted you can turn off hear and let it melt on its own and remove from the heat once its done :)

 

Now you can place your marshmallows on the stick and dip them in lightly and can tap off any extra chocolate or lick it off ;) :)

and then sprinkle on your topping of choice!!

Anddd... tadaaa!! your have a marshmallow pop!!!!

 

Let them harden in the frig for a few minutes then they are ready for eat and enjoy :)

 

 

Halloween

Who knew having a blog would be work ;) I promised myself I would update my blog at least 3times a week.. Lets see how that goes soo week one 2nd post its all about HALLOWEEN!!!!

I think I love the holidays just a little bit more now that I know how many possibilities there are with baking and decorating!!!

Before I received any Halloween orders I decided to show my lovely sweet tooth lovers a sneak peak of what they would by enjoying on their spooky night of trick or treating.

These cake pops were some work but thanks to my amazing boyfriend for giving my the great idea of making a cauldron and using worms. His top favorite sweet other than my sugar cookies :) {tutorial coming soon on the cauldron} I received great and amazing response on these pops :) cant wait to make some for my nephews Halloween basket.

Now I am a newbie at cookie decorating but I have to say it is my new passion! I just love all the things you can do with cookies especially sugar cookies, who knew!!

I think for my second holiday with baking and first time cookie decorating for Halloween I did a pretty good job ;)

 

These ghost have to be my favorite :) soo easy and yet tooo cute!!!
